The Ohoopee Regional Library System is inviting area teens to come to the library for Superhero Super Teen Program! We will host a costume contest and trivia, as well as give teens a chance to create their very own superhero! We will also show the movie, The Avengers, 2012, featuring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth.

Teens, aged 10 and up, are invited to this special event. There is no charge to attend. Parents and guardians: please note that this film is rated PG-13.

The program will be held on Saturday, October 6th from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the Vidalia-Toombs County Public Library and on October 13th from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Jeff Davis County Public Library in Hazlehurst. We will also have this program at the Tattnall County Public Library in Reidsville on Monday, October 29th from 4 – 8 p.m.

Thomas the Tank Engine coming in October Kids climb aboard at SAM Shortline Excursion Train in Cordele
October, 2012, CORDELE, GA. -- Tiny fans of Thomas the Tank Engine™ can ride a real train this fall when the storybook character pulls into southwest Georgia. The 2012 Mystery On The Rails Tour offers little engineers and their families an opportunity to ride a 15-ton replica of Thomas the Tank Engine, star of the popular Thomas & Friends™ series. Children will ride along with their favorite hero on his latest adventure as he pulls SAM Shortline Excursion Train down the track. The Mystery On The Rails Tour is presented by HIT Entertainment.
